Lola Ehrlich Peanuts Raffia Straw Hat in Turquoise. The "Peanut" style is a flowerpot bucket that is made out of raffia tape. The raffia tape is stitched into a coil, and gradually loosens and forms the final shape. The hat has an overlapping tape that helps ensure protection, and the downward-sloping brim protects and shades the face. The hat does have a few rows of free form stitching in the same color as the trim. The crown of the hat is wrapped with a washed ribbon that twists into a knot. The size can be adjusted by tightening or releasing a narrow ribbon inside the crown.
