CLOSED CLOTHING is a casual clothing brand founded in 1978 in Italy, by a French husband-and-wife design duo Marithé and François Girbaud, who now operate out of Hamburg Germany. They invented the stonewash procedure and hit it big in the 1980’s. They are also known for the pedal pusher Jean that also captured the market. Most of the products are produced in Italy in the worlds best denim factories.
