Silk Laundry was established in 2015, with the notion of timeless and classic styles and ideas. The brand is a family of individual thinkers that have been brought together by the creative director and founder of Silk Laundry; Katie Kolodinski. Each thinker brings an element of luxury and experience to the brand. Silk Laundry continues to work on their own path to sustainability in 2021. The brand is looking for creating new partnerships with more sustainable manufactures, while the brand is continuing to collaborate with organizations working against animal endangerment, environmental disasters, and social justice. Silk Laundry is also stopping the use of plastics and instead is implementing organic and recycled materials and natural dyes derived from plants.
Silk Laundry has completed the B-impact Assessment and the brand is working towards becoming a certified B corporation.
